Get To Know Your Neighbors!

We think it would be great if everyone got a chance to get to know some of the volunteers in the community, and to find out why they love AW so much. This month we're highlighting the Gatekeeper of the Month, Andre1.

If there's a volunteer you'd like to see us highlight, let us know!

Meet Andre1

Hi everyone, =o)

I've been asked to write something for the AW Newsletter because people voted for me as Gatekeeper of the Month. I'm not really used to typing when no one types back LOL ... but here we go : as you all know (or not know ) my name is Andre, I'm from Holland , 33 years old, my profession is selling paintsprayequipment to company's in RL and besides that producing my own music in my studio, which is my most timeconsuming thing when not being on AW ... I've been coming to AW for about 2 years now. Mainly been visiting the Gate the first months because there are always people there, from all over the world and thats a great thing. Always wondered how it would be to help people in the bold so i applied and guess what ? yes, you guessed it right, i became a bold one (not bald..yet) LOL. So I'm usually at the Gate, helping people out when I'm not building, and it appears they think I'm good enough at it to put my name on the sign ( the one when you face West ) . I'm really honoured to deserve such a title, I couldn't believe it at all ... so October 2000 will always be AW-special to me =o)

see you all laters, Gaters, and thank you all !

Andre1
