AW Support's Tech Tip of the Month

When I run in OpenGL mode it is incredibly slow. Why is that?

This is a common problem on older video cards. Many older video cards provide no formal support for OpenGL in hardware. This causes OpenGL to emulate most or all rendering functions in software instead, which is extremely slow. You will be much better off running in either Direct3D or software mode instead.
