Thanks Roland!

After devoting nearly 7 years to Activeworlds Corp. Roland Vilett has decided to make a career change.

Leading the development team, Roland was responsible for, or somehow involved with, the implementation of the vast number of improvements to the Active Worlds browser. In the 7 years since Roland joined the development team, the Active Worlds client has evolved from a small 3D window, title bar, chat field and 1 world (AlphaWorld) to the advanced 3D browser with over 1000 worlds, that it is today.

Roland also holds a special place in the heart of the AW Community, as was evidenced by the large turn out at his final "Tech Talk" this past Friday.

We here at Activeworlds Corp. appreciate the vision and dedication that Roland brought to Active Worlds and wish him all the best in his future endeavors.
