Canopus' Mars Recommendation
The Mars Travel Bureau sends out its Census Bot to find and report on all building activity for each twelve Earth months. This year, even after MTB sifted down the report to likely prospects for its Tours, there were 710 finalist sites. Now the MTB is in the process of selecting the few that will be added to the existing Tours, and I am permitted to reveal the first selection: the monstrous palace and adjacent swimming pavillion created by Kazen at Mars 978.4n 45.8e 90. Not only is it a stupendous piece of architecture, but Kazen has filled it with original building ideas, clever animations, and new uses of native Martian materials. A worthy hotspot to celebrate the new Earth year.
Travellers can reach Kazen's site from Earth via the Orbiting Space Station (Mars 0n 953w 30.6a), taking the rocket down to Aeria Spaceport (Mars 305n 994w 6a). Follow the Nilosyrtis Railway from Aeria to the North Pole Station (Mars 864n 988e), and board the Borealis East Tour to Kazen's residence. And be sure to take a look at the renovations on Neo G's site, which is right next door to Kazen's.

The Project - AW 15562.5n 32177.8e 1.6a 90
An unusual name for an unusual town! This town is a virtual maze of
passageways, giant rooms, and more glass than you can throw a rock.rwx
at! Suspended in the air, this town gives "urban development" a whole
different meaning! Be sure to wander around, as there's plenty to see
here! Oh, and there's plenty of room on the ground for residents to add
to the fun! So mosey on over to The Project for some real exploring!

NOVA
If you are looking for new world to call home then
NOVA would be the world for you. If you're an avid
Alpha fan but want the use of more objects, NOVA has a
seperate world, IMPLODE, that houses many interesting
objects for use in NOVA. NOVA is a free building
world that has been around for about 3 years now.
There are many intriguing builds of all types to keep
you exploring for hours. Not only is NOVA an
excellant world for building but it also offers a
warm, family-like atmoshpere. For you tourists out
there, NOVA is tourist friendly.

AWTeen's Recommendation
Since the new millenium will be beginning shortly, I felt that it might be a good idea to feature a bit of AWTeen's past. TheCheese's Aztec Adventure, built on October 22, 1998, is among the oldest buildings in the world, created only 11 days after AWTeen opened to the public. TheCheese submitted the following description:
At the Aztec Adventure, you can take a one hour tour and explore the inner catacombs, raging waterways, and many puzzles, of AWTeen's oldest adventure building! The complex was the product of 2 months of creation time, and more time before planning. Sacrifice to your gods, because you'll need all the luck you can to escape the Aztec Adventure.
After exploring the area myself, I discovered that it was huge, and the hour of time that is required to explore it might not be an exaggeration after all. Visit a relic from the past and take a look at AWTeen's Aztec Adventure at 400n 400w today.

M u n k u y's Historical Recommendation
Started: July 17, 1995
Built: August 14, 1995
Site: grover's Castle
Builder: grover (citizen no. 43)
Coords: AW 29.3N 20.9E 0.4a
Not much to say about this site as it is (so you get a break from my usually long and boring columns :¬P)... except that it's one of the nicer places near ground zero to visit (the walls actually line up!). Because of it's fairly far away location (in regard to GZ that is), you probably haven't seen it before... but it's worth a look :¬)
Also, connecting and adjacent to this site are:
Water World (by no. 43)...
Mount Twisted Pair (by no. 29)...
G&G Labs Beginner's Maze (by no. 43)...
... All of which I will probably feature separately sometime in the future :¬)
Also, for info/grover's commentary on his older sites in the area of GZ, check out: https://www.geocities.com/TimesSquare/ 3349/aworld.html (his old AW page)
