Goober King's UTN Recommendation Sapphire Estates - AW 17999.5s 16000.5w 0.7a Though this is a relatively young town, it has a wealth of talent to draw from. With its mayor's beginnings inside the crucible of creativity that is SW City, Absolute Monarch has also managed to draw several big-name builders to his town, including a town GZ courtesy of the CY award-winning Seiya Faye. Oh yea, and AbMo isn't too bad a builder himself. ;) Be sure to check out such landmarks as Sapphire Towers and the Soccer Stadium, and don't forget to pick up the latest issue of the Skii Report, the town's newspaper!

Daphne's Historical Recommendation One of AW's prolific builders has always been The Real Pops... He has done many very nice builds and started several communities in Alpha World... In fact The Real Pops is truely one of this community's "old timers"!!! Pops had already been here a good while when I journeyed to ActiveWorlds back in August of 1997... I was lucky enough to have run into him the 2nd day I ever set my virtual foot in AW and I feel very lucky that he took me under his wing and became the first mentor I ever had in ActiveWorlds... No one could have asked for a more knowledgeable teacher when it came to learning about building in ActiveWorlds... Not only are The Real Pop's early builds part of Alpha world history; The Real Pops himself is a good part of it's history!!! Besides building many things that people have enjoyed viewing or doing in this universe, Pops was also a GateKeeper advisor and, for a while, he was the one-person "Garbage Elimination Team" whose interest started out the GET in Alpha world then helped it expand to being active in several of the AW Inc. public build worlds... He is no longer active in that team and I don't think he's still an advisor to the GKs... After the years he's put in, I would have retired too!!! LOL There is more that could be told of The Real Pop's history in Alpha World but I'd rather point you to some coodinates that will allow you to experience what else this man has contributed for yourself... The Pop's Teleport area, located in Alpha World at 8999.30S 299.84W 0.03a will take you to almost all, if not all, of his builds... From there, if you turn to the west, you will see Pop's teleports to areas of interest... Across the street from those are other teleports The Real Pops has provided as download/cache fix helps... Be sure not to miss the teleports at the corner to his Prospect Community and to the record-breaking mountain he built in 1997... Spend the day, enjoy the views, see the work of a great guy that has Alpha World rooted deep in his heart!!!

Light Form's Yellow Recommendation Yellow 635.84N 478.78W 0.12a 270 For those of yall who manage to drop in Yellow frequently, and like to go exploring, whether it be by typing random coords in, or just marching from GZ on, you know that things can get pretty messy out there in AWs last frontier. But yall also know that Yellowstone plays host to a vast array of builders. From the four year-old bear by E N Z O near ground zero, to the most opulent tourists build. And it is my pleasure to bring you one of the higher profile builders of AW fame. Lara. Famous for her AW Object Yard and work with Eep and Mauz in the visually stunning world Hole, Lara has put the Yellow object path to the test, building some of the most visually astonishing and technically complex builds yet to be rivaled in Yellow. I think its safe to say that Lara has raised the bar for Yellow builders past, present, and future. And what really tickles me is that, she did it ALL in LESS THAN A MONTH!
