If you have a really cool, frightening or otherwise Halloween-ish build you'd like ppl to come see, send me (Daphne) a telegram and tell me what world it's in, what you want the teleport sign to say, what the coords are and if it's tourist accessable or not... :o)

If you are having a special event for Halloween, the Teleport Center has room for your graphic that advertises the event and will link it to a web page for the event if you have one or link it to the site of the event...

Special Halloween Bingo in AWBingoX

Friday, October 31st there will be a special bingo held in AWBingoX world for all you zombie, bingo ADDICTS!!! :o)

It will start at 3pm VRT just to be different and we'll play until the prizes are won or the bot meets the grim reaper!!! LOL

Expect some prizes from AWI to be offered and some special object prizes from some of AW citizen model makers...

Put on your Gee W. mask and come join us for a night of frightful fun!!!

AVRCity Spooktacular Halloween

Once again this year, citizens of Active Worlds are invited to join in a spooktacular (or spectacular) halloween celebration in the world AVRCity. AVRCity was originally won in a halloween building contest in AFantasy world in 2000 . The owners Blaize and DB Digital have created a custom halloween extravaganza for AW citizens to enjoy.

The world is built with some objects from the AW object path, as well as with hundreds of custom objects and textures modeled by DB Digital and Blaize. Citizens are encouraged to "try on" the many halloween avatars that are available for cits to wear during the festivities. There is a haunted house, graveyard, crypt, maze, giant's castle, sleepy hollow, swamp, and a wild lava raft ride manned by skeletal ferrymen to name just a few of the features of this world.

Citizens are encouraged to let their virtual hair down and dance the night away in the custom dance area complete with giant rotating disco moon and the Grisly Ghoul Cafe where the specialty of the house is of course, Building Inspector Tartar. Grab a zombie or a Bloody Mary and take the tour through the teleport center located next to the citizen graveyard. Climb the beanstalk to the Giant's keep but watch out for the residents! The undead are very easily disturbed in this world, which makes halloween a fun and frightening experience for all!

Join your hosts DB Digital and Blaize Saturday, October 25 from 10pm-12am virtual time for games, prizes, trivia, music, dancing, horror stories around the bonfire, and plain old fashioned All Hallows Eve fun. Be there!

Eros - Hauntingly Beautiful

Hauntingly beautiful, the world of Eros has darkened all recesses of the world with a delightfully scary Halloween theme. From haunted forests to pirates invading the shores, this theme world will steal your attention and keep you coming back for more! On October 31st, Eros will be holding a Halloween Treasure Hunt!! Prizes will be awarded to first and second place. Further details will be at ground zero in Eros. All are invited to participate! See you there!

Cloud 6 Spookyville in Aeon

From GZ, turn to facing West, walk down that main path until you get to a golden path on your left. On that gold path, just at the beginning are signs ... please be sure to read the signs! You need to "bump up" a tree to make the clouds visible, once on a cloud you need to "bump down" it's tree (all are roughly in the same spot on each cloud, kitty corner to where you land when going up) to make the clouds invisible again. Your visibility should be at a minimum of 60! *Cloud 6 ~ Spookyville* is the last on the (at the end of the) gold path if it's the only one you'd like to visit. If you choose to only see Spookyville, I advize that you stay on the ground (don't fly because hitting any part of the other *cloud* trees, even the leaves / branches will take you there) and stay on the golden path all the way to the end. It is best to stay down by each tree until you've loaded and you will be loading the cloud once you get near enought to it's tree. All bump up trees are big, orange and on the golden path!
