One of the Solar System's most fantastic collections of animated objects is located in the far Southwest of Mars. These amazing animations were created by Shrike, and are a logical choice of Hotspot for the merry month of May. The huge site contains a ferris wheel and other rides, petting zoo, jugglers, giant musicians, and more, all joined by a skytram. Shrike's amusement park is located at Mars 119S 682W 60.
Visitors arriving from Earth can take a rocket plane from the Orbiting Space Station
(0N 953W 30.6A). to Tyrrhenum Spaceport
(123S 994W 6.8A). Travel overland from the Spaceport on the Isidis Railway, heading north toward the edge of the Southern Highlands and the beginning of the Utopia Plain. Join the Nepenthes Tour at Etherium Station
(95N 802W 0.2A 330). and head for Shrike's place.

The GBC is truely a jewel in Meta. A real must see. Within, you will
find towering, ominous buildings (in Meta's own unique style), as well
as many realistic places. There's a theater, tattoo parlour, nightclub,
cafes, and tons more. Lots of creativity, thought and detail went into
building the GBC. Walk the streets and try to see it all. You might not.
It's an amazing place. See for yourself. I'm impressed. Great work Rhedd

Religion Online
This month we bring to you the Active Worlds Buddhist community center. With
a unique building style, and an open forum, this community offers the chance to
come in and discuss the Buddhist religion openly and freely with other
Buddhists. The community tries to hold scheduled chats twice a week, and
encourages informal chats at other times. The building itself offers links
on the Buddhist religion, as well as links to other Buddhist sites in Active
Worlds. Whether your a believer or not, the community offers you a chance to
learn more about a different religion. Come to talk, debate, or listen, you
won't be disappointed.

Any monthly reader of the newsletter should know Goober King by now, but do you know anything about his town. Did you even know he had a town? This is one of my favorite towns in all of Alpha World. It's pretty realistic (something I personaly love to see) and well detailed. Being the town of a real "go-getter" and committed AW adict, you can expect to see a lot of talent in this town. As a final note, I think my favorite feature of the town is the full network of power lines, something I've never seen in any other town. Heck, the poles even have built in lights. This is a mid sized town with available lots.
