Meet Nursemom - GK Of The Month
Hello I am NurseMom, I was first introduced to AW when my daughter and her friend were looking for 3d chat rooms on line. It was in March of 2000. I immediately started chatting as a tourist. Everyone was so nice. It was a very welcoming place and the GK's made my experience pleasant. They were always very helpful when I had a problem. In May I won a citizenship in a contest. In June 2000 i became a Gatekeeper. I think the gatekeeper program is the backbone to aw. My favorite part of active worlds is...now that is a hard decision...I love to build..and meet people all over the world. My most favorite thing is helping new comers learn how to use the program. I live in Northern California, USA. A small mining community in the foothills. I am a Registered Nurse. I enjoy working with the elderly, teaching new nurses, and working for the American Red Cross in my spare time. I am also the mother of 2 wonderful girls. One in the air force and one in high school. My hobbies are...being on line in active worlds. Camping, swimming and long drives on 4 wheel drive roads in the Mountains above where I live. Being a Gatekeeper in active worlds is very important to me. I love helping everyone. Thank you for this great honor. If there's a volunteer you'd like to see us highlight, let us know!
