This month Kiwi chats with citizen Pattie.
Hi there Pattie. Thank you for doing this interview.
Pattie: Hi there Kiwi and thank you for thinking of me.
Kiwi: How long have you been in Active Worlds?
Pattie: In September it's 5 months as a citizen and six as a user.
Kiwi: Well it's really nice to meet you.
Kiwi: You're from Italy right?
Pattie: Well, yes, it's where I am currently living. I am English-born though.
Kiwi: How did you find AW?
Pattie: A friend from a text-based chat talked to me about virtual chat with graphics, and interaction using avatars and such. We visited AW together and since then I just loved it.
Kiwi: What made you decide to stay and become a citizen?
Pattie: Most of all I like the friendly people you meet on here, then the interest of 3D building, and I just enjoy exploring other worlds and other people's works.
Kiwi: Have you explored many worlds?
Pattie: I think just about all of them that exist :D
Kiwi: I think everyone finds their own thing they love to do in AW. What have you found so far you really have fun doing?
Pattie: Oh 3D building for sure.
Kiwi: Where do you find yourself hanging out the most?
Pattie: Mostly at AW Gateway or where I am building.
Kiwi: What do you do in real life?
Pattie: I work in a school.
Kiwi: Is there anything you don't like in AW so far?
Pattie: As we know chat is like real life, has its good sides... has its bad sides... but I think the good parts overcome the bad ones by far.
Kiwi: How would you describe yourself?
Pattie: A friendly person, who likes to make other people feel at ease and welcome.
Kiwi: I think every stranger that comes to AW is a potential new friend. Looking forward to getting to know you, smiles!
Pattie: Same here too Kiwi :)
Kiwi: Thank you so much for letting us get to know you a little better.
Have a great day Pattie.
