August 23, Xavarella's Discussion Forum opened.

August 25, AWBingo world opened.On August 25th, AWBingo had its Grand Opening for Wednesday Nite Bingo, and it was reported as being awesome! Using cool bot technology (made with the Active Worlds SDK) they got a new friend, [BingoBot], who runs killer games of Bingo each week!

AWCamp - That summer, over 60 campers and counselors made history by attending the first ever 3D summer camp! Everyone had a great time building forts, going on field trips to different worlds and universes, playing games and hanging out! Mountain Myst and Lucrezia Borgia thanked everyone who volunteered their time to be a camp counselor, teach Arts and Crafts Classes (they loved Magine and Lara!), ConArtist who made a great groundskeeper in AWCamp, and every one of the kids who came to hang out and play! It was reported that AWCampers had an awesome time!

Correction - I incorrectly stated: "June 27th, 1999 was the public release of AlphaWorld." AlphaWorld was opened when AW started in 1995 please note the correction.
