Caring's Atlantis Recommendation

Atlantis: Greymane's Grotto Atlantis 989.0N 186.6W 0.1a 17

What a fantastic build! This is a fairly new build but you will be amazed at it and enjoy every moment spent there. Imagination and creativity abound. Be prepared to spend some time there.

Canopus' Mars Recommendation

The Mars Hotspot for July was constructed by two Mars citizens working side by side, Vannevar and Numsii, near the Equator, in the Memnonia Region. There is a local tram, with control towers and stations, plus impressive buildings, some floated by antigravity devices, such as a ziggurat and a dome. Well worth the trip.

Travellers can reach Vannevar and Numsii's site from Earth via the Orbiting Space Station (0N 953W 30.6A), taking the rocket down to Cimmerium Spaceport (214S 325W 5A 180). Follow the Ma'adim Railway from Tyrrhenum to Croatia Station (169.6S 71.4E 1A 290), and board the Memnonia Tour, disembarking at the center of the site (29S 410E 1.8A 270).

jupytr's COFMeta Recommendation

This month's recommendation for Meta is a place called, The Keep. Located at COFMeta 472S 175E 2.0A you will find a huge and beautiful castle with many many rooms, motes, corridors and more. Take your time and explore. The use of lighting effects adds a very nice touch. Have fun exploring :)

Springfield - AW 100N 5679.3E

Springfield is a quaint little town with an interesting twist: It has it's own virtual money system, courtesy of USWF! You can register for an account and use your newfound "wealth" to buy land and services in the town. And even if you don't get an account, you can still enjoy all that Springfield has to offer, including a walk through Springfield Park and even getting your picture taken at M.A.G. Photography! Become a part of Springfield today!

The CLC Recommendation

Town: SW City
Mayor: SW Comit
Location: Alpha World 2217.4S 3609.8E 0.0a 90

What?! I'm suggesting my own town?! Well I found it odd to review my own town, but SW City is a CLC town and I'm speaking as its president, and not the mayor ;)

SW City is a massive city and claims to have over 500 buildings, 92 residents, and 64 sq. kilometers of land. The town is divided into 4 main sub-communities, and is governed by a staff member of the town. It features popular creations such as the Subway network, AW Baseball, AW Tennis, the tropical Palm Sea, Niagara Falls, Peril Mountain, a replica of Hyrule, an industry center, and much more. It's environments spans from fields, mountain ranges, tropical beaches, deserts, and urban of course. Teleports to all those locations can be found at www.swcity.net. This town provides practically endless exploration. Enjoy your stay.

Duskbat's Historical Recommendation

Once a busy alien trading post, Alphaworlds dreamland park is now a relic of the past. Walk around this ghostly park and visit fine ancient builds left here by fellow aliens. Be warned, many things were built with textures so expect masking issues unless you pull out that old browser of yours. The secret to this place is an underground space station with a few space yachts. If your lucky, I think they still have some fuel down there and you can take one for a ride. Just look for Weird Space teleport. Enjoy the park. Don't be suprised if you see aliens hiding behind some trees. They are there :) AW 121S 791W

AWTeen's Recommendation

AWTeen, in a little more than a year, has grown from a tiny world at the bottom of the worlds list to a world that averaged 32 users (day and night) during the last week of June. Back in May, I struggled to figure out a way to record this progress so that AW citizens could be proud of AWTeen's heritage.

On the weekend of May 16, I created a propdump of the world. Thanks to XelaG's extremely stable software and impeccable programming, I was able to complete the propdump in a little over 53 hours, without the Xelagot crashing, disconnecting, or encountering a single problem. The bot surveyed 3.49 million objects between Friday night and Monday morning.

I then spent the next few days attempting to map the propdump. At first, I used Magine's mapping utility, but it cut off the edges of the world because at the time it has a size limitation. I then contacted Andras, and he produced a map, which is located at 1900n 1900w. While the map accurately represents AWTeen to some degree, AWLD-password protected objects are not shown because they could not be unzipped for the mapping. However, because these objects make up only a small degree of the buildings in AWTeen, the difference is hardly noticeable. However, AWTeen now has 4.65 million objects at the time of writing, causing the map to be somewhat out of date. We hope to provide regular updates to the map in the future.

I invite you to check out the new AWTeen map at AWTeen 1900n 1900w and take a stroll through history!
