Active Worlds Loses a Treasured Member of the Community

On Thursday, April 11th, 2002 Skyee passed away after a long courageous battle with cancer.

Skyee immigrated to Active Worlds September 12th, 1996. She was best known for her active role in the GateKeeper program, which she joined in February of 1998. Up until the day she died, she played a key role in the GateKeeper organization as one of the Executive Team Leaders.

The loss of Skyee has left a void in the Active Worlds community, the GateKeeper organization, her family, and the countless friends whom she touched.

A memorial service was held in her honor on Saturday, April 20th in AlphaWorld at 2893.5s 29989.1w 0.5a 163. There is also a memorial build site at that location.
