The holiday season came and went fast! For the longest time I was stuck in a howling cave, somewhere out there in the universe. During the Fall I was ducking chainsaws, flying skeletons, and you name it wherever I turned. I nearly got caught by a mad scientist who had one of the Building Inspectors strapped and zapped! You can be sure to get easily lost in explorations, and I sure did! Can you tell some of the places I was trapped at?
After finding my bearings, I found myself slid into winter season. Winter world was a great place to chill for awhile after all the hellish heat I was stuck at. Winter was a welcome sight, where this lovely cozy cottage made by Ferruccio greeted me with a warm fire place and a few signs to transport to a number of snowy villages.
One port led me to a contest area of some builds that really caught my eye. I stayed at this beautiful mansion built by Digigurl to warm up for the night, then traveled on down the road and spotted this gorgeous cathedral build by Apooka. I spent a good while admiring the exemplary work until I received word of some activity in another world.
Good golly, just realized it is already January and there looked like there was a party going on in the world AWReunion. So I flew on over to take a look and found this month's Community Town Meeting facilitated by Bach Zhaa was beginning, and the world's winter theme area. I shook the snow off the snow plows and went in for a few hot toddies at Roy's Bar, in the LZ cabin built by AWReunion team member Roy Curtis. Great to see the whirlwind of activity and conversation!
There was plenty of instruction to help new and experienced citizens alike. Feeling warmed up enough I decided to slip on some snow skies and and glide around to check out all the wonderful buildings and attractions. From trains to cottages tucked away in hidden valleys, it was fun riding the slopes and checking out the scenery. I ended at this wonderful hilltop cabin mansion built by Darkmatter before looking for a plane to fly onward. A most enjoyable visit!
I am zonked! Time to look for some balmy weather and relaxation. I took a cruise on over to the world Allusion to settle for the evening, and spotted a sweet tree house to nap in after a seafood dinner.
