Upcoming AW Community Events

Just in time for those long lazy days of Summer, we've got some weekly events planned!

AW Sunday BINGO returns!!!

Starting Sunday June 9th "AW Sunday BINGO" returns with new hosts and great new prizes! Come join us in one of the beautiful BINGO worlds that will now be open every Sunday. Games will start around 4PM VRT and last through the night. Prizes will include Worlds, Citizenships, special privileges, novelty items and much more. Don't miss out...

AW@War testing every Tuesday!!!

Starting on June 11th. AW@War will be open every Tuesday for testing of the AW@War bot. If you have some free time and are looking for something to do please stop by. AW@War is a paintball type game where you score points by clicking on other users. You can hide in the shadows or chase your opponents around in the open. There are secret areas and items you can find and many places you can get lost. AW@War will not officially open for some time, but stop by the Tuesday tests and give us your ideas and suggestions. You could gain valuable experience on the battlefield and may even score a occasional AW prize for your assistance!

Tech Talk returns with Shamus Young!!!

Starting this Friday (June 7th) at 7:00PM VRT Shamus Young will start hosting Activeworlds Tech Talks. Tech Talk is where a member of the Activeworlds staff, usually a programmer or developer, takes time to discuss with the community some of the fantastic things you can do with AW both now and in the future.

Shamus has been with the company for many years and has helped to create some of the many features you use today. Shamus helped to create some of the early worlds like Yellow and Mars and has also helped develop some of Activeworlds key features like moving objects and adjustable ground.
