Caring's Atlantis Recommendation

Atlantis: The Robo Pound Atlantis 10.6S 183.4E 0.1a 275

That's right....down in the lost city of Atlantis is a Robo pound where you can adopt a cute little robo puppy. Also, there you will see the rare Pearl Dolphins and their playmates. Check it out at 10.6S 183.4E 0.1a 275

Canopus' Mars Recommendation

The Mars Hotspot for June is Cydonia City and its superbusy animated transportation systems, operated by the Yellow Shuttle Company. Cydonia City Mars 970n 479e was designed and engineered by Taxi Guy: worth a special trip to the far north.

Travellers can reach Taxi Guy's site from Earth via the Orbiting Space Station (0N 953W 30.6A), taking the rocket down to Aeria Spaceport (305n 994W 6A). Follow the Nilosyrtis Railway from Aeria to the North Pole Station (864N 988e), and board the Borealis East Tour, getting off at Cydonia City.

That makes two great animation sites in a row: this month, Taxi Guy's, last month, Shrike's. By the way, Shrike wants me to tell you that Jippydawg helped out a lot at his place.

Skink's Pulse Tube Transport COFMeta 53n 370E 180

Something very interesting in Meta so check it out. Riding the Tube sorta reminded me those scenes in movies where they're travelling at light speed.... everything is going by in a blur. Pretty fun though. One thing about the Tube though....... After riding it for the first time, you might want to do it a second time for the best effect. The first time you're loading and you can't really see much so ride it again :) Here you can see rivers, a waterfall, caverns, and tons more so get off the Transport often and just explore. You'll be surprized.

Alphasville - AW 8000s 16000e

This one is truly a residential town! Even though this town has only been around for about a month now, it already is home to some of the most interesting houses in AW. If you're ever stuck on an idea for your next house, this is definitely a good place to start. Or, better yet, why not add your own house to this marvelous collection? :)

The CLC Recommendation

Town: Pippinville
Mayor: Lady Pippin
Location: Alpha World 1952S 2568e 270

Pippinville is a marvelous town that I've overlooked until May. Featuring awesome buildings (especially the ones done by Lady Pippin herself), and days worth of exploring, I highly suggest you look at this town if any. The GZ of the town contains teleports to buildings/areas of the town. Though I never visited them all (there's a lot!) my favorite so far is Lady Pippin's Island, located at 2041.4S 2514.2E 0.7a 70. You can expect to see about one and half years of solid work, as the town was founded November 6th, 1999. This is a very large town and I'm uncertain what the population is but it's still active and accepting new residents.

Duskbat's Historical Recommendation

If this won't bring extra happiness to your life I don't know what will. Duskbat here with exciting news that I will bring to you the latest historical facts and figures (oh yea, and these great hot recommendation) for AWHS for a long time! What a change! All that said, expect to find some wonderful sites and structures to explore monthly when you're AW newsletter shows up in your mailbox. I am happy to say these latest batches of fine sites will offer the new AW historical date of 1998!!! That's up to Dec 31st 1998. What this means to you is that AWHS has opened up a whole new era of our colonized cyberspace to preserve and share with all of you. Now on to our pick of the month:

Riff is the builder. Anyone know Riff? Maybe an old friend? Riff, do you still come to AW and build fine places like your Rifferton Plaza Hotel? Well we hope so, but you left a good one here. Folks, the detail here on this structure is quite amazing. The interior and exterior have you pinching yourself to wake up! No your not lost in a Hollywood dream, your in AW. I think the designers of the Beverly Hills hotel in CA took their ideas from Riff's build hehehe. Wait a min, that was 1929 I think. Oh who cares? See for yourself and get a feel of AW back in 1998. Simple is beautiful and it shows here in Riff's hotel :) With a hint of 1999. AW 157.0S 1033.7E 0.0a 210

One last thing, and that's cheers to M u n k u y. You did a swell job with the historical recommendation up to now:) Thanks for all the work and best of all being a friend to AW and myself. Your work and effort to the community are noted every day when we are at ground zero AW. Keep the shiny side up Munk.

AWTeen's Recommendation

June is a month of looking ahead to the future. Students put the current year behind them and look ahead to the next. Young and old alike anticipate the coming summer and all its adventures and prepare for the change in season. Millions of students around the country participate in commencement ceremonies and venture into the "real world". Families make vacation plans and work toward achieving these goals. In AW, June is also a month to be anticipated. With so many groundbreaking events, one should not be bored around the AW universe.

In light of this anticipation, while many previous recommendations have focused on AWTeen's historic buildings and other important parts of its past, I thought that, with a completely redesigned organization, this month's recommendation should include one of the world's most recent builds.

Heartchester, located at 1600S 1600W, is a prime example of the new creations that are begun in AWTeen each day. Constructed by Kmissile583K, this town, which currently boasts seven permanent residents, includes lush greenery, flowing rivers, and flowers that are always in bloom. Lots, which occupy 3600 square meters of land each, are available upon request. When I asked Kmissile why he chose AWTeen as the location for his new town, he replied, "It's a popular world, has move and rotate commands enabled, and has a large cell data limit."

The town gained in popularity after Kmissile won a Citbingo prize that allowed him to advertise the town's lots in the AWTeen welcome message. Citizens are lining up, and lots are being taken fast.

You can obtain a lot by contacting Kmissile583K by telegram or by sending an E-mail to kmissile58@shoemakervillage.org. According to the mayor himself, all types of buildings are welcome.
