 The Cy Awards kicked off this year with a Gala Dance Ball on the 11th of November at 10pm VRT time and I have to tell ya it Rawked.
I got over to the Cy Awards world at about 7PM VRT to start sending out grams and from that moment on it all began to happen. First there were 2 people who showed up, then there was 6, then 20, and before 10PM VRT we had 50 people in the world. The world list was topped out at 64 citizens and tourists, and we stayed at the top of the worlds list all evening. I have an unofficial count of 150 to 170 people showing up for the dance. We all had a great time. Old friends were catching up and new friends were being made all evening long.
Everyone was highly impressed with the builds and that is thanks to the hard work of Lady Teal, Tengel, tunablues, dreamer2, Digigurl, Pelican, Siliconmana and chrispeg. They all did an AWesome job this year on the world. This is just my opinion mind ya, but the Cy Awards world should win a Cy this year lol.
The presenters this year are a great group of people from all over AW. They are Beebo, Chanes, Digigurl, Draco, Espilae, Ferruccio, John1018, Kenneth, Keshi, LizLiz, MaXPoly, Mom Di, Optimus Prime, Tengel and Vera. We would like to thank all these people for taking the time to help present the Cy Awards this year. Woooooooooooooo Hoooooooooooooooo Way to Go!!!
 The music this year was supplied by AWRawks Radio and it was my pleasure to be able to play some great tunes for all the folks at the Cy Awards. The theme for the Cy Awards this year is Now and Forever and that is as it should be, Now and Forever, AW is in our Hearts and Minds.
The Cy Awards, over the years, has been a fantastic event in Active Worlds and it is our hope that the Cys will be around for years to come. It is a citizen generated vote and that means that your vote counts.
