The Yellow Gazette celebrated their first year anniversary on April 30th in Yellow. Many also came to see the new dance area done by doc1 where they danced the night away to the tunes from PKToons dot com Congratulations again to Apooka and Ozman on this milestone and for their many contributions to the AW community. Due to a server issue, the next three events were moved to AWReunion and Mars respectively. We celebrated sweets' birthday along with Tim's surprise birthday on the 12th of May at AWReunion with thanks going to NurseMom. The planned parties for Aylla and TimBen on 13th of May was moved to Mars. However, advantage was taken of the downtime and the world has been undergoing a major transformation. Some wonderful additions to builds are going up almost daily courtesy of Class 3! If you haven't noticed the faster download time, come back and check it out!
On June 5th, we celebrated AW's favourite lady, Kiwichicknz, in the Cocktails and Dreams club. There were many people there. So many, there was barely dancing room. Luckily there were plenty of tables and a stage to dance on! It was a fabulous time and Kiwi felt very partied! Ms Sue was given a surprise party on June 11th even though her birthday is actually in March. Just goes to show it is never too late to celebrate a birthday!
July 1st is Canada Day. PKToons surprised the Canadians who frequent the Mix with a party to celebrate their special day. Was delightful and unexpected! Our thanks go to Class 3 and Veger for such a treat! After July 1st, came a party weekend for Independence Day (4th of July). Each day was fully celebrated with the Mix rocking round the clock. MaXPoly set up a fireworks display outside the Cocktails and Dreams club. They were gorgeous and felt like you were there! Thank you for a fascinating set of fireworks, MaXPoly! We loved them!
July 12th is Veger's true birthday but the party was actually held on the 16th of July. It lasted several days. Almost as long as MaXPoly's did in April except we stayed at one place! During the festivities, we found out about two more birthdays so we celebrated them fully too. The other birthday people were CloudDrifter and Princess Becca! It was a really fun time. The dance floor was filled again with dancers rocking the night away to music that matters! We also showed that family matters too! Parties on the fly - specialty of PKToons dot com!
