The Active Worlds Extreme Builder Talent Show (Now in the AWGate!):
Details - Now Open! The Active Worlds Extreme Builder Talent Show is testing the dedication, skill and talents of the Active Worlds community. Each participant receives their own plot to build in and will have free reign in regards to content*. The creation part of the show will end on July 27th.
Prizes/Rewards - Each plot will be judged by AWI's panel of staff and guest judges and graded from 1 to 5. All contestants who receive a grade of 4 or 5 will get V4 rights in the AWI build world of their choice (AW, Mars, Yellow, Atlantis, COFMeta). In addition, all citizens can vote on their favorite plots and first, second and third place winners will be selected by popular vote.
First place will receive a $150.00 credit towards future purchases and renewals within the Active Worlds Universe. Second Place will receive a $100.00 credit towards future purchases and renewals within the Active Worlds Universe. Third Place will receive a $50.00 credit towards future purchases and renewals within the Active Worlds Universe.

War of the Worlds is coming - Coming in September is the first Annual Active
Worlds War of the Worlds competition. This contest will pit worlds against worlds in skill areas like building, modeling, special effects, movement and many others.
All participating worlds will be required to have a team of 5 citizens who have created content in that world. Each individual user will only be allowed to participate with one team. World owners should start getting those teams together!

Party Hard! - Join TaLLan, Veger, and the rest of the AWRawks Crew for a bunch of upcoming weekend dance parties. They will be in Mars (July 6, 7 and 8), AWTeen (July 13, 14 and 15), AlphaWorld (July 20, 21 and 22nd) and AlphaWorld (July 28). The previous world dance parties have been a huge success and these should be even more fun.
