AWNewbie Needs Your Valuable Help!

Courtesy of Elyk and Ryan

The AWNewbie Watchkeeper program is in need of some reliable citizens (15 years of age or older) to contribute 2 hours of their time per week monitoring the world and helping newcomers become aquainted with learning the program, moving around, building, and making sure no disputes or trouble is caused within the world. Think you can handle the job?? Fill out an application at http://awcommunity.org/awnewbie/newwks.htm if you are interested!!

Requirements to become a Watchkeeper in AWNewbie are as follows:

  • -Must be at least 15 years of age or older?
  • -Must be a citizen of at least 6 month
  • -Must have a good understanding of how AW works
  • -Must not be sharing citizenship with other citizens
  • -Must be willing to spend at least 2 hours per week in AWNewbie on duty

Watchkeepers are responsible for helping newcomers and assisting them with anything they might need while building in the world, attending to disputes and trouble caused within the world and preventing harassment, helping newcomers get a password from the Guardbot (http://awcommunity.org/awnewbie/guardbot.htm) and making them feel at home in the ActiveWorlds Universe. That's all there is to it!!

If you have any questions or concerns about AWNewbie or the Watchkeeper Program, contact Ryan or Elyk at awnewbie@awcommunity.org, or visit the AWNewbie webpage, located at: http://www.awcommunity.org/awnewbie/.
