Garnet

Garnet joined Activeworlds June 3, 1999 ..She says... "I became a cit.. and I was a tourist for about.... 5 mins :) maybe less :)"

She learned about Activeworlds from a friend "Noxy" in real life.

Garnet spends most of her time in AW as she puts it "learning TS finally!! and am quite involved with that these days....but I do love building too :).... I help host bingo in Andor...oh and.. for Andor .. I have helped Kimera e to make objects for prizes there now"
"I have recently started selling some of my objects, but I have not been selling long enough to have a web site set up with pictures.
If anyone is interested in seeing what I have available they can gram me and I would show them, or if they teleport to Aquarius 32S 18E they can see some things I have available."

In real life Garnet is a a substitute teacher and plays the guitar.. and sews.. and mostly just loves computers.

Garnet has couple daughters, one in college who's a music and voice major, and another in 8th grade

What Garnet loves most about AW...."Oh I love the creative things you can do here.. I love building and making things.. I do love to chat with friends too .. but my main love here is the creative side of it all :) I like to know how things are made.. and what it took to make it.. :)"

When I asked her what she would wish for if she could wish for anything, her reply was "I would LOVE to see all my VR friends in real life".

And when I asked her what one thing would she love to do, she answered, "To know as much about making objects and graphics in general as SGi does :) ...really to learn more about computers".

"Well as you know there has been a lot of flack these past couple years about a lot of different stuff.. but all in all.. I think we are a community.. I think we all help each other when needed..

I was told by a friend that a letter I put in newsgroups would get me a lot of crap.. and I was a bit worried.. but what happened was I got some real help with real answers.. and no flaming :) ...
and it really was great to see..and I did appreciate the help
...so I think we are like a small town
We may all complain about things.. but we do stick together when its needed :)...and I love it here :)

Lady Katherine found AW about 7 years ago.

She had been told about AW from a friend named Rook who brought her to Dreamland Park then AW.
She tried it and fell in love.
"Well to be honest Rook SainteWho were the world owners who brought me to this AW"

When asked what she does most in AW she replied
"Well I spend lots of time talking and building until about a month ago when I found Mutation.
"Now I play in Mutation while I work on the object path for Talisman."

What she loves most about AW is the different people she gets to meet that she would other wise not get to meet and being able to make friends from around the world.

Her IRL hobbies are sewing, making lace, making hand dipped candles and hand sewn quilts.
And she grows the best zinnias in Tennessee!

LadyKatherine is semi confined to home had open heart surgery and a mild stroke:(
She says "AW is in some ways my window to the world when I'm not working part time for a printing company"

When asked what she would wish for if she could have any wish, she replied "For the war to end and every one to come home safe.I have friends and kids over there right now.

And when asked what she would do if she could do anything in the worlds....her reply "If I could do any thing in life, I would love to help bring peace to the world ...at my age I have seen too many wars, and too much hate".
