AWCC Anniversary a HUGE Success!

This year's AWCC Anniversary was one of the most successful on record.. The opening ceremonies began at 8am VRT on Saturday, January 18th. There were more than 40 people in attendance!! Events included a quiz hunt, scavenger hunt, trivia, history tours, snowball fights, museum tours, name that tune and a Snow Ball. The closing ceremony, on Sunday, January 19th at 6pm VRT, began in AWCC with a special dance performance by Einga and her AWCC Dance Squad and ended with a surprise teleport to AWDisco! This year's Anniversary Theme was "Looking to Our Future.. By Remembering Our Past". Speakers and presenters included Lady Pippin, AlphaBit Phalpha, the beloved [Delph] and others. After the awards were presented, attendants were treated to a slide show and a spectacular display of lights and lasers!

We would like to thank all who helped make this Anniversary such a wonderful event! Thank you to all of you who participated. And thank you to everyone who donated prizes. Valentine Heart Hunt

Looking for love in all the wrong places? No worries, come to AWEC's Valentine Heart Hunt and find your own love in the shape of a heart! The hunt will begin on Friday February 14th at 6pm, in Vision2 and end on Sunday the 16th at 8 pm VRT, in AWCC. So get there early for the download. A P-10 world (without hosting) will be given away to the winner, so don't miss out!

Stand Up Comedy Night

Like to make people laugh? Think you're funny? Then step up to the stage and show us what you've got. You suffer from stage fright? That's ok: just stop by for a laugh, and watch the show. If you would like to perform in AWEC's Stand Up Comedy Night, please email Nitouche at nitouche@pippin2.com for more information. Comedy night is Monday, February 17th in AWCC world (15.67N 20.40E 0.01a 358.). We look forward to seeing you there!
