Recommended Hot Spots

This is where you can get tips on places to visit from the "insiders". These correspondents are leaders in their worlds, who take the time to seek out new, exciting, and different places to visit in their worlds. Don't miss a single destination on this list if you want to know what's cool in the AW Universe!

Goober King's UTN Recommendation

Alua Bay - AW 17586.9n 17578.4w 0.5a

For those of you who love a rural, small-town atmosphere, Alua Bay is the town for you. Plenty of wide open lots, along with prime beachfront property, have already made this town home to some of AW's most prolific builders. Be sure to check out contributions made by such builders and Vera and Seiya Faye, and stop in for a cuppa at the Odyssey Restaurant. Or better yet, make your own contribution to this budding town today!

Light Form's Yellow Recommendation

m0es side of the Mountain (Yellowstone 289N 302W)

When any new world opens, there is a virtual mad dash to claim land in that world. We will we certainly see it when NewAW arrives (or, maybe by the time this artical is published) had arrived. And we saw it with Atlantis, Yellow, and even Mars. m0e, former Peacekeeper head honcho, and promonant citizen of AW, seems to have done just that.

With the first building block laid around January of 1998, m0e has contructed what seems to be an object texture mountain. With slopes containing everything from a boom-box texture to a wooden hillside. He also compiled a nice little Yellow furniture set. At any rate, this mountain is full of surprises and also sports a Lensmen teleport center right new to it. So once you get tired of hiking, you can just jump over to the teleport center and see what Lensmen is working on. Enjoy!

Dear Yellowstoners,
Each month it is getting harder and harder for me to track down suitable build for the newsletter. While I are sure there are many more beautiful builds out there, you all have a very clever way of hiding them from me ;)
So if you think you have something that can stand up in the newsletter, e-mail me at Light_Form@hotmail.com or just telegram me =)
Sincerely,
Light Form

AWTeen's Recommendation

Jurassic Park by Ace32 - AWTeen 1896.26N 660.73E 1.19a 334

This Month, we took a break from winter, a winter "escape" I should say. We had a building contest about it, even. It's no wonder that the theme showed through into our hotspot of the month. Jurassic Park, a recreation of the park from the popular movie series, is the perfect escape from those "winter blues". Built by Ace32, Jurassic Park is an innovative and peculiar build, ranking among the best in creativity. I highly recommend that you escape winter, and come to the theme park (in AWTeen) where Dinosaurs rule!
